Dr Patrick OāBrien started Tsolum Mobile Veterinary Health as an ambulatory large animal practice in 1998.Ā It was then purchased by Dr. Peter Parke in 2003.
In 2024, Dr. Parke sold the domestic pet side of the business toĀ Tsolum Veterinary HospitalĀ . Since then, our focus has been dedicated solely to farm and large animal care.
Our talented, compassionate team is committed to providing comprehensive veterinary services with professionalism and kindness. We offer high-quality medicine and surgery in a calm, supportive environment where both animals and their owners feel at ease. Whether weāre working out in the field or back at the hospital, we function like a family and take great pride in the care we provide.
Our operation doesnāt solely focus on large-scale dairy, beef and hog operations, but we also work animals on hobby farms including sheep, goats, poultry and more exotic animals, such as llamas and bison.
Mobile Large livestock services (Farm Calls) are available wherever you are within our service region – from the mid to North Island, beginning in the Errington, Parksville, and Qualicum area, through the Comox Valley and Campbell River, and west to Port Alberni.
We are also pleased to have expanded our services to include Powell River/Sunshine Coast and the Gabriola, Denman, Cortes, Quadra, and Texada Islands.
